This downtown Key Westmuseum features an extensive collection of exhibits, artifacts, and treasures from 17th century shipwrecks off Key West, including the Atocha and Henrietta Marie. See gold, silver bars and coins from the NuestraSeñora de Atocha and Santa Margarita - the Spanish galleons of 1622 that sunk on their journey from Havana to Spain. Marvel atartifacts recovered from the English merchant-slaver Henrietta Marie that sank 35 miles west of Key West in 1700.
